Scope: Install 5,800 ft. of an 8 inch sanitary sewer line west of Easterwood Airport. Work includes a total of 740 ft. of 6 inch tie-ins of the existing sewer lines from Nuclear Science Center and Physics Observatory, decommission of an existing septic tank system, installation of a 5,645 ft. of 4 inch electrical conduit with 23 pull boxes, and 27 standard manholes.  A creek crossing with 20 pier supports is included for the 8 inch sewer line and a 6 inch domestic water line.  Questions regarding scope should be directed to Mr. Mikael Olsen at (979) 458-0417.

Subcontracting: All work will be awarded under a single prime contract. Texas A&M University has determined a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) is required for this project. The following potential subcontracting opportunities are probable on this project: construction services; cement masons, concrete finishers, and terrazzo; construction equipment operators; dirt work/landscape contractor; hazardous materials removal; pipe and tubing fittings; roadwork – asphalt; other – builders supplies; other – fencing; and, other - markers, plaques, traffic control devices.  This list is not a comprehensive list of all subcontracting opportunities for this project.  The Bidder is responsible for identifying all types of potential subcontracting work.
